GOP congressman apologizes to BP for $20 billion ‘shakedown’ | Video Cafe.

Just picked this up from Crooks & Liars … UNBELIEVABLE. “Shakedown”?!! The company is responsible for the WORST environmental disaster in the HISTORY OF HUMANKIND, and this guy feels compelled to APOLOGIZE to them?!! Seriously, I don’t know how these sorry sacks of you-know-what sleep at night.

   Oh, it just keeps getting better and better … turns out dear Rep. Barton’s biggest campaign contributor is part owner of … wait for it … the Deepwater Horizon site!!! Yes, THAT Deepwater Horizon site. Kudos to fivethirtyeight.com for getting this story out: http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2010/06/top-donor-to-barton-is-partner-of-bp-on.html. It’s beyond disgusting.
