This week’s TOT topic made me laugh…my list is short and sweet: ALL of them!!!
I’m not much of a “celebrity” aficionado. I just don’t get why people are so obsessed with meeting “celebrities” (it’s not like you’re going to become their new BFF), trying to be like them (for most of them, it’s not like they’re good role models!), talking about them, reading about them, stalking them, etc. Just not very star struck, I guess.
And of course don’t even get me started on the truly disturbing lengths some people will go to to BE famous…

- What is up on Twitter with all the creepy spam-bots that randomly start following you? One advantage of the Facebook proprietary system… #
- Thank God for TiVo … just now settling in to watch the Survivor finale … thinking JT should win, but I like Taj too… #
- Okay, JT and Steven suck for double-crossing Taj … definitely pulling for Erin now… #
- Okay that isn’t going to work … Erin is gone. I guess now I am for JT … but mainly wondering why we still watch this show… #

Hamas Won’t Accept Two-State Solution
So for now, let’s leave out the fact that Muslims (deliberately) built a mosque on top of the ruins of the ancient Jewish temple precisely to desecrate the Jewish site, that Jerusalem is not mentioned even once in the Koran ( see this recent humorous incident for more info), that there already IS a Palestinian homeland (it’s called Jordan), that the Palestinians are being used as pawns by the rest of the Arab countries in the area, and the fact that the only reason Israel is occupying the “disputed” territory in the first place is that the Arabs attacked Israel (unprovoked), and LOST. MULTIPLE TIMES.
Leaving all that aside, we’ll focus on the issue at hand … what to do now. I continue to maintain that the idea of a two-state solution is ridiculous, and not a solution at all. Why? Well, for one reason … because it’s inherently obvious that the Arabs are not going to accept this. But don’t take my word for it … read what they say! Hamas will not accept a two-state solution. Not my interpretation, their actual words.
Yet Israel is demonized every day in the international press, and faces an inordinate amount of pressure to “fix” the Palestinian problem by agreeing to this two-state “solution”…

- Rain AGAIN today … Samara told me very impatiently that it’s supposed to be APRIL showers bringing May flowers … she’s right! Sigh… #
- At a VERY formal wedding … Eli’s teacher (and Samara’s from last year) #
- The kids are singing – they did a GREAT job … now heading down to the social hall to watch a “movie” of the wedding… #
- Can’t have the kids disrupting the ceremony! We had to sneak – quietly!!! – down the back stairs, like the hired help … #
- …except of course they don’t get paid! #
- Seriously, was nice – and brave – of her to have eighteen 6-8 year olds in her wedding! #
- Whew, all done – now off to eat drink and be merry – at O’Charley’s (no kids at the country club reception). The kids did a great job! #
